We opened over 50 years ago and since then thousands of young people and the not so young have taken their first steps on stage, dancing, acting, singing and generally having fun. Many of our past pupils have gone on to have professional careers on stage and TV and also into teaching, choreography and fitness.

We cater for all levels from 3 years old in a variety of subjects from ballet to acro, hip hop, contemporary modern jazz, tap and musical theatre and also have a children's theatrical agency. For those interested in taking exams have had 100% success rate in all our IDTA exams throughout the time we have been in operation.

Our past pupils include Jill Halfpenny - Strictly Come Dancing winner and star of west end musicals such as Legally Blonde and Chicago, along with East Enders and Coronation Street. Claire Morland who has appeared in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on the West End stage, among other productions, Michelle Heaton of Liberty X and Emily Smith, who starred as Debbie in Billy Elliott the musical.

Many have benefited from the confidence they have gained at the school and the lifelong friends they have made. Classes are held in great studios at Clayton House, Gateshead and our fees are very reasonable.
