Welcome to Reavley Theatre School

We opened 38 years ago and since then thousands of young people and the not so young have taken their first steps on stage, dancing, acting, singing and generally having fun. Some of our past pupils have gone on to have professional careers on stage and TV and also into teaching, choreography and fitness. We cater for all levels from 2 years old in a variety of subjects from ballet to hip hop, jazz, tap and musical theatre and also have a children's theatrical agency.

Our past pupils include Jill Halfpenny - Winner of Strictly Come Dancing and who has starred in west end musicals such as Legally Blonde and Chicago, along with East Enders and Coronation Street. Claire Morland who has appeared in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on the west end stage, among other productions and Michelle Heaton of Liberty X. One of our present pupils, Emily Smith, has just returned from staring in Billy Elliott the musical in London's Victoria Palace Theatre. She held the role of Debbie for 2 years.

Many have benefited from the confidence they have gained at the school and the lifelong friends they have made. Classes are held in great studios at Clayton House, Gateshead and also in Cromer Avenue Church in Low Fell and our fees are very reasonable.
